Why is the pricing lower on direct bookings?

Guests who book through Airbnb, VRBO, or Tripadvisor pay services fees of $400-$1000+ on each of these sites. These service fees are set by the booking platform (not us). Booking direct automatically saves you from having to pay these service fees on various OTAs.

What cleaning measures do you take with COVID-19? How much time is in between guests?

First, this house features contact-free check-in with keyless entry. No need to stop by an office for keys or meet a property manager. Use the tablet in the kitchen to check-in your group.

​

All sets of linens, towels, rugs, blankets, washcloths, are cleaned, changed, and rotated prior to guest arrival. The house goes through a 5 to 6-hour cleaning process that ends with disinfecting of all high-touch areas including, but not limited to, remotes, light switches, doorknobs, handles, etc. Cleaning supplies are always provided for guests to use during their stay.

A full 24-Hour window is preferred between guests. Guests who request a same-day check-in/check-out may be subject to early check-out or a later check-in time.

How much space is there for parking?

Guests have access to 1 or 2 spots in the three-car garage and the entire driveway. There is enough parking for 10-12 cars. We ask that you do not park on the street or the lawn. If you have more than 12-14 cars, please contact us first.

When will the pool be open?​

The pool is open from May 1st to end of October each year. While a few pool towels are provided, we do recommend that large groups bring pool towels!

Is this home handicap accessible?

Yes, there is a ramp available upon request for wheelchair access. The front door has two (2) 3-inch steps for entry. Guests can then use the elevator to access the other floors.

What type of grill is outside?

It's a gas grill and propane tanks are provided for guests. There is also a second grill that's a gas and charcoal combination.

Which bedrooms are attached to bathrooms?

Request the floorplans via the contact page to see the bedroom/bathrooms and house layout.

Can I host a small wedding or a birthday party here? I have less than 50 guests.

We do not allow events of any size at this property. If you're hosting a women's retreat or executive meeting or team off-site with people staying in the house (less than 30), that is allowed. But weddings, birthday parties, the use of rentals, DJs, loud speakers, etc. is not allowed here.​

What do we need to bring to stay here? Are the beds made? Are towels provided?

Beds are made prior to arrival and towels are provided for all guests. Starter goods will always be provided (coffee, tea, sugar, salt/pepper, paper towels, trash bags, and toilet tissue) but for longer stays or larger groups, we recommend bringing extra just in case.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dinnerware, coffee pots, and more. Plenty of items to prepare meals for a large group.

Do the TVs have Cable or Satellite Television? What about Netflix?

The TVs are Smart Televisions with access to Roku, Youtube, Netflix, Disney Plus, and more. Use your personal logins for Prime Video, ESPN, and other premium channels. The main floor living room and master bedroom also have access to local cable channels (over-the-air).

We'd like to have a private chef come in and cook for us. Do you have any recommendations?

Absolutely! For private chef recommendations and bookings, use the contact us page or email me. We can also provide recommendations for activities, mobile massage therapy, and more.

Can I get mid-stay cleaning?

Yes. If you would like turn-down service or mid-stay cleaning, just let me know so we can schedule it with our team. Additional fees will apply based on what services you'd like to have done. Cleaning, laundry, changing linens and towel service are all examples of options.

We're bringing an infant/small kids. What items do you provide?

The master bedroom has an attached room with bunk beds for small kids. There is also an upstairs suite with an attached nursery that has a rocking chair, pack-n-play, and baby mattress. There is also a toddler bed available in the house for use.

What is the nightly rate? Is there a minimum night stay requirement?

The nightly rate varies by the dates you select. Submit an inquiry on the contact page to get a quote. The minimum night stay is 3-nights except for holidays and peak season where it's 4-nights. (Peak Season = Summer (May 1 - Sept 30) and Holidays = Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Two-night stays are made available for open dates that are less than 30 days away. We do not allow one-night stays at any of our properties.

What are the payment options?

Guests can pay online via debit/credit card, PayPal, wire transfer, or Venmo. The total reservation amount can be split into 2 or 3 payments depending on the date of your stay. For reservations less than 30 months away, it's one payment. The first 50% is due at the time of booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. For reservations 6-12 months away, it can be 3 payments of 33%.

Is there a damage deposit? How does it work?

A pre-authorization for the damage deposit of $500 will be held on your card one (1) day prior to check-in. This hold will be released within 7 days as long as there is no damage or missing items and check-out instructions have been followed.

How far in advance can we book this property?

You can book this property up to 18 months in advance with direct bookings. 12 months in advance on VRBO and 3 months in advance on Airbnb.

How does check-in work?

14-21 days prior to your check-in date you'll receive an automated email with check-in instructions and access codes. Since there is contactless check-in, we do guest ID verification to ensure you are the person you say you are!

If you booked on Airbnb, this is when you'll pay the damage deposit. If you booked direct or via VRBO, you will upload your ID and sign the rental agreement again.

 

What is the cancellation policy?

There are no refunds on bookings. We can do a one-time date change but it is subject to the availability of the new dates and pricing.

I'm a local, can I book this property?

We only rent to locals who are either companies or have a wedding booked a local venue. Please let us know the name of your wedding venue so we can confirm. If you're a local and looking to rent for social purposes, you will need to provide references or book through Airbnb or VRBO so we can see your reviews from previous hosts.

Is there any type of surveillance on this property?

Yes, there are exterior cameras on this property for safety/security only. There are no interior cameras.
